Wonder why I didn’t post anything during this time ?
I was actually busy with preparation for my paper which is tomorrow and I am really taking time now to really blog a bit before going back to that piece of Science notes that I have. haha
Before I really post, I really want to thank those who wished me a happy birthday yesterday.

I also want to thank my group and ED1 people for celebrating my birthday at Macdonald and sharing their heartfelt words that really touched my heart lots.
In the first place, Alvin really wanted to talk to about some stuff and then walked around centerpoint , asking about in what areas that I need to grow and also about my recent spiritual life. After that, went back to centerpoint mac when suddenly Ding Kiat said that its was my birthday and then they like asked me to close my eyes and then to count to 50 but in the end I only counted to 30 only. I opened up and then saw was a ang ku kueh with a candle on top. After that, Biang Liang scolded Min Jie ,Ding Kiat and Guo An for not being sincere.
After that, Daryl came in with a Birthday cake and asked ‘Is there anyone birthday ?’ and then they sang a birthday song for me and than sharing testimonies.After that, I was supposed to make 3 wishes ; 2 wish I must tell them and the last one is personal.
After that, they prayed for my birthday wish and the shared the cake with my group and after that went home.
Today was CG and was supposed to meet them at 2.30 pm at the Katong Shopping Center Food Court but I reached there around like 2.10 pm. Went to the food court and bought two jelly and then went out of the shopping center to eat the jelly.After eating finish the jelly, I called Guo An and asked him where he was but he told me that he will be late. Ordered a drink and sat down waiting for them to arrive. Saw Sherman but he did not see me so I use my phone to call him and then came in and sit down and also to call Sheldon to come over to join us. Then Jeriel and Aloysius came a while later with a cup of bubble tea. At nearly 3pm, Sherman got a call from Guo An asking us to meet him. So we went to meet up with Guo An and then went to Teo Heng for Karaoke session as Guo An had booked a room in advance from 3-6. Went inside the room and then started to pick songs and sing. After a while, I was on my way to the toilet and then Meng saw me and said hi and she was with Sharlene walking towards the direction of Teo Heng. Didn’t know that they are using the room next to us until Cheng appeared outside the door of our room. Sheldon and Sherman were kind of didn’t know what to sing and Guo An had to ask them to sing. I did a few solo singing. Min Jie came late as he had school. After the whole karaoke, Meng asked if anyone had stapler so I lent mine and a while later there was no bullets so Meng had to get from me as I was waiting outside. Instead of letting me wait, Meng told me to join my group and she would find me later to return my stapler. Went to the toilet and then my group was there and after that went to the food court to eat our dinner. After that, we went home.
Today had ‘N’ level English Paper 1 & 2 at Junyuan Secondary and I woke up at 6.25 am just to prepare myself. Left the house around 7 am and then made my way there by cab and it cost me $7. If I take bus, I would be late as I need to reach there 30 minutes before the paper starts. Signed in at the guard post with a friend and proceeded to outside the hall and look at the plan of the seating arrangement. Chatted for a while before we were told to enter the hall. Put my bag at a side and saw a few people being late.
Then EL paper 1 started with me looking at the question without knowing which topic to write. At first, I choose question 2 but I could not expand the topic. So I changed to question 4.
After a short break, we had EL paper 2 and the cloze passage is about ‘ Good Manners’ and I did quite okay for that but not for the comprehension as some of the questions were in ‘answer in your own words’. I had to think of words to substitute it which was mind wrecking for me. Summary was considered okay as I had to summarize within 130 words, not counting the words given.
After everything ended, I went to buy my lunch and ate it at home as I was very tired and then tried to take a short nap but when I checked my phone, there was a message from Guo An asking me if I could come for metamorphosis prayer meet at 7 pm. I replied that I could go for it and then went to do my own things. At 5 pm, I prepared myself to eat dinner and took a bath before going out to meet them.
When I reached there, I called Guo An to find out where was the group was and he told me that they were at Centerpoint Macdonald. I made by way there but only saw Guo An and Aloysius there whom are from my group only. So I sat down and listened to them chatting away and also talked to Andrew for a while before he went to usher. Went to buy a cone of ice-cream and then Bing Liang said hi to me from behind. Min Jie came a while later followed by Sherman and Sheldon.Then it was Praise and Worship first at nexus auditorium then followed by lots of praying for oneself, group, the brothers and also for Pastor Shirley too. Then it was the final praise song but we asked for one more praise song at the end. After that, some of them went to eat while the 5 of us which included me, Min Jie, Guo An, Aloysius and Joshua Lim went home together.
Today, I had choir at America Room today but when I got there, Louis said that the door was not open yet so we waited around 5th floor and then Louis sorted out the new scores and gave them out when we were inside the room. Louis also ask us to share with a neighbor about one thing that God really blessed us with this week. After that, we did vocal warm-ups then went into learning of the new song called ‘Stand By Me’. I also managed to find a SATB version of the song on Youtube

After choir ended at 11.45 am, I went to the first floor to find my group but they were not here yet so I decided to buy a drink first. I called Sheldon and he said he was with his brother and some of the lower sec people at the MRT station. Waited and waited for some time until I saw Aloysius nearly walked pass me but I waved at him and then waited for the rest to come. It was 12.15 pm that they reached cuppage plaza and quickly went for service.
Dennis was the preacher for today’s sermon and the East people wished him a happy belated birthday. So today’s sermon was about Prayer and Planning. Once thing that really impacted me today was that ‘when we pray, God will work on the inside instead of the outside’. God will not change the circumstances but God will change us inside that we could go through the current situation with him.
After that, I went to have lunch with my group at Concorde hotel food court and only found 1 rectangular table and then had to squeeze because there were too many people from other groups were having their lunch too. Ordered Chicken Ban Mian and then went to sit down at the table to wait for the rest. Aloysius said grace then we tucked into the food. Then we slacked for a while then went to orchard central as Jeriel wanted to see DSLR cameras. So, I tagged along with the group and then they were browsing and testing out the products there while I was looking around. As time passed, they were enjoying their time and then Jeriel, Sheldon and I went to the toilet cause they wanted to pee and I need to top-up my bottle of water. Then, Joshua, Jeriel and Aloysius took some photos of something and we left orchard central. At the main door, there were a few people doing survey about Consumer spending at Orchard Central and headed back to Cuppage Plaza cause the East people are celebrating Dennis’s Belated Birthday.
It was fun as most of the ‘East’ people were there to celebrate Dennis Belated Birthday. There were people doing the decoration of the room.Then Yi Qin asked 8 guys and 8 ladies to volunteer to become ushers and I gladly volunteered to become one of them. We were place in position forming a line towards America room and then Yi Qin pretended to be Dennis just to have a trial run. We waited patiently for Dennis to arrive but before that Qian Jin saw us and asked us if he could help in anything. Pastor Shirley opened the door near the cargo lift and then saw us all standing in a line and was like kind of shocked. Dennis arrived blind-folded with Rui Zong and Yanyu supporting. The ushers inculding me which Yi Qin asked us to volunteer welcomed Dennis to America room and then sang Dennis a remixed birthday song and a birthday song. A video was shown to us people about the CL and UL affirming Dennis for the things that he’s done. Fiona, Bing Liang and Shirlene affirmed Dennis in the room and a song was dedicated to Dennis which was led by Florence.We prayed for Dennis’s three wishes and then it was photo taking time with Dennis. The first one was the Formal district photo with help from Yaoguo and then a fun shot with some of the guys helping to carrying Dennis. Then it was time to have groups photo with Dennis with East A , followed by East B/C and then the East D. We managed to take a formal group shot and a fun shot.
After that, went to Centerpoint Macdonald’s with some of the guys as they want to eat food but then I was not that hungry so I just bought two apple pies and sat down with Joshua, Sheldon and Aloysius and then talk while I was eating my apple pie. As Jeriel was bored, he asked Aloysius, Joshua and me if we would like to walk around centerpoint and we agreed but after Jeriel had his dinner cause we have eaten our dinner already. Walked into some shops only as Min Jie called Jeriel to ask us to go back to the Macdonald’s and we were going back, we saw Pastor Jeff. We reached Macdonald and then Alfonso from ED1 ask each of us if we wanted to play dota but since I don’t play dota so I said ‘no’. Hanged around with some of the guys from ED1 with Jeriel, Joshua, Aloysius(my group). Stayed till 9+ and then some of the ED1 people had something on. So we walked to the MRT station with Joshua, Aloysius and Jeriel and then went home.
